What is cosmetic product safety assessment?

The RSPC is made up of two essential parts:
Part A - Product Safety Information
Compilation and analysis of data on formula, ingredients, toxicological data of ingredients; results of safety and stability and compatibility tests; and identification of potential risks.
Part B - Safety Assessment
Scientific advice written by a qualified evaluator, including safety margins, target populations and recommended conditions of use.
